NMFR responds to vehicle Incidents and are prepared to perform patient interventions in a vehicle, vehicle stabilization and extrication, and fluid clean-up.

NMFR Vehicle Extrication Capabilities

All Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue personnel are trained in extrication competencies. NMFR has three primary response apparatus equipped with extrication equipment, one providing immediate response to Highway 41, one to Highway 441 and the third to our entire response area. NMFR is equipped to handle incidents involving vehicle stabilization, vehicle extrication and heavy-equipment/machine extrication. This equipment is also portable and can be used within buildings where individuals may become entrapped in process machines. All personnel receive annual training to ensure competencies remain and any new or alternate techniques are introduced.
